Speech & Language

Speech/language services are provided to students with communication disorders which adversely affect educational performance. These disorders may include the following:

  • Receptive (comprehension) language disorders;
  • Expressive (oral expression) language disorders;
  • Articulation and/or sound development disorders;
  • Fluency (stuttering) disorders;
  • Voice disorders.

A student would be considered to have a communication disorder if their ability to communicate affects their academic learning, social adjustment or self-helping skills.Speech/language services are available at all Central Kansas Cooperative in Education sites.
